Entries are open for Grass Roots 2025! Get ready to showcase your talent at the Grass Roots Open Mic Competition on Sunday 10 August at 2pm. Whether you're a seasoned musician or just starting out, we want to hear from you! This year, the competition is open to ALL ages, with separate categories for under 21s and open participants.

Best Original SongPrize for Under-21 winner: One-on-one mentoring session (may be via Zoom) with a musician / songwriter / producer, provided by Song Makers. Prize for Open category: Undertake a recording session, including a mixed and mastered finished song.
Judge’s Choice - Performance Award (one for under 21’s, one for Open category)Perform a set at Long Lunch at Piccolo Family Farm event on Sunday 26 October 2025 (or another public event organised by ArtFarm) including receipt of payment for the performance. Perform at Griffith Regional Theatre’s 2025 Season Launch in December 2025 (Date TBC) including receipt of payment for the performance.
