Whether you're a seasoned performer or just starting out, the much-loved Grass Roots Open Mic competition is back we're calling on musicians of all ages to join in.

With two categories, Under 21s and Open Age, the competition celebrates musical talent across generations. Prizes will be awarded in Best Original Song, Best Performance (People's Choice) and Judge’s Choice, with six awards in total. Artists can perform originals or covers.

Enjoy live music and support local performers as they compete on stage. Contestants will show off their skills and perform a mix of covers and original songs at the Grass Roots Open Mic Competition.

What is better than a Sunday session to support young local musos? Come along and see these talented artists as they step out on stage and show us what they’ve got. The music will be live and loud, the bar will be open for refreshments to enjoy.

Grass Roots is presented by ArtFarm and Griffith Regional Theatre. ArtFarm is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting artists and delivering quality arts programs in the Western Riverina.

Please note:

  • A $1.50 per ticket fee applies to all online ticket purchases. 
  • Children aged 15 years and under must be accompanied by a paying adult at all times.
  • Unless specified, babies up to 2 years of age are admitted free of charge providing they remain on the lap of a parent or guardian.  Any child requiring their own seat must hold a valid ticket and must remain in their seat at all times.
  • Prams/strollers and baby capsules are not permitted in the auditorium.
