Build on your watercolour skills in this inspiring intermediate workshop with Karly Sivewright.

Across two evening sessions, you'll develop your watercolour skills while creating a striking Waratah painting under the guidance of artist Karly Sivewright. Designed for those with some watercolour experience, this workshop explores composition, colour mixing, layering, and techniques for creating depth, light and texture through controlled washes and detailed brushwork.

As you build your painting step by step, you'll gain a deeper understanding of watercolour processes and learn approaches that can be applied to your own creative practice. Leave with a finished artwork, expanded technical skills, and greater confidence in your watercolour journey. All materials are provided with take home notes and step by step guide.

About Karly

Karly Sivewright is a local artist whose practice is driven by a love of storytelling through texture, atmosphere and diverse artistic mediums. Her work spans a wide creative spectrum from delicate, emotive watercolour to bold, large‑scale murals that enliven public spaces. Karly’s versatility and curiosity as an artist underpin her approach, allowing her to move fluidly between fine detail and expansive form while maintaining a strong sense of narrative throughout her work.
